During his tenure, he identified underperforming and poor portfolios and brought them to management’s attention such as Cointel, Meeg Bank and Altron.

Other initiatives included profit and loss management and analysing the silver card portfolio, as well as rationalising the total card portfolio. Additional responsibilities include the P&L management of garage cards. In addition, his experience includes business development for new deals, a large telecommunications company and other business development projects.

His experience has also centered on the use of global best practice and international standards (i.e. – The Business Lab SA, Absa & Deloitte) from an auditing, accounting and client relationship perspective. In addition to having sound people and interpersonal skills, his competence here is business & executive coaching, business support, business growth development, contract management, fee and price negotiation, resource management and business control and ensuring mutual benefit for contracting parties in terms of the mutual goals and outcomes.
